URBS Plus project

The URBS Plus Project was begun in 2007 with the goal of creating a virtual on-line catalog of Roman libraries which specialize in disciplines similar to those of the URBS libraries. URBS Plus thus enables users to simultaneously consult the library catalogues of both URBS members and URBS Plus member collections, even if they do not all share a common catalogue or software system. URBS Plus presently include collections of:

Academia Belgica
Biblioteca del Senato della Repubblica Giovanni Spadolini
Centro Alti Studi per la Difesa (CASD)
Deutsche Historische Institut in Rom
Attention: at this moment, due to technical difficulties, the catalogue of the German Historical Institute in Rome cannot be consulted via URBS Plus. You are therefore kindly requested to carry out necessary research directly on the institute’s website.
Deutsches Archäologisches Institut
École française de Rome and Centre Jean Bérard de Naples
Fondazione Marco Besso
John Cabot University Library
Loyola University Chicago-John Felice Rome Center

Each of these members, with its specialized and prestigious collections, enriches the common bibliographical catalogue and enables to users to more easily locate material they are searching for.
